Eugene Apartment Rentals
Although the town of Eugene, OR is dominated by college students either attending the University of Oregon or Lane Community College, there is still a big part of the population that is young professionals or those with families. What types of rental housing is available in Eugene? Students can be near all the action Autzen Stadium in the Chase Village Apartments, Duck Village Apts, or Stadium Park Apartments. If you cross over the river to the university side of things, you'll find The Collegian and Patterson Tower Apartments. Want to be closer to downtown Eugene? Consider the Broadway Place Apartments which include studios, 1, and 2 bedroom units. Studios start at $750, 1 bedroom apartments are $975, and the 2 bedroom apts are $1165+/month. If you need to be near the campus of Lane Community College, the Oak Creek Townhomes and Four Seasons Greentree Apartments are very close. The community of Springfield is across I-5 and it's still an easy commute back over to Eugene for work. Mallard Properties lists over 10 apartment communities and building they manage, so check their website out for the latest in availability.
Need to rent a home while living in Eugene - no problem as we can direct you to the correct property management group. We think property management companies are the best way to go as they list inventories of many homes so you instantly get a good selection instead of looking at individual homes on sites like Craigslist. Eugene Rentals is a reputable website with an "available now" button which gives you access to what you rent at this time. They also have many properties that rent for 9 month leases - perfect for students only attending school for those parts of the year. Sterling Management Group also have homes for rent in the Eugene area, but their selection was limited the last time we were on their website. Mallard Properties does have a decent list of houses for rent, but again, the homes go fast and as of now they are all taken until the start of the next school year. We advise students looking for housing to get started months in advance, fill out applications, talk to property managers, and check out multiple rental houses before commiting to any particular one.
