Loft living is certainly something associated with city life and many young professionals are looking for this these days. The good news is that lofts were overbuilt in Denver so the oversupply favors renters. Equity Residential runs the Ballpark Lofts Apartments on 24th Street and they offer studios, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units. Availability for the smaller apartments is what we found with rents starting at $1150 for the 1 bedroom units and getting closer to $1600 for the bigger 2 bedroom, 2 bath lofts. The Bank and Boston Lofts Apartments in Denver are on 17th Street and pricing is very competitive. Their single bedroom unit goes for $1050 to $1350/month depending on lease terms. Red Peak Properties is another great choice if you want selection. They manage over 8 apartment complexes in the Denver region and can give you updated information on leases and availability. The Residences at Capitol Heights get good reviews from tenants - many saying the maintenance staff is excellent and repairs or problems are taken care of. The location at 1350 Grant Street is a huge draw for those wanting to rent but still be in the heart of the downtown.

The surrounding communities to Denver like Lakewood, Englewood, Arvada, Aurora, and Commerce City all has dozens of listings for homes for rent. It's easy to find something in your price range and get the location you want.
