Dayton offers lots of apartments to rent whether you are seeking a downtown location or something on the outskirts in Beavercreek, Kettering, Fairborn, or Trotwood. As you get closer to downtown Dayton, apartment communities like The Landing, St. Clair Lofts, and First Place Condos are available. Young professionals prefer loft style living and student attending the University of Dayton can still commute over to campus from these locations. The high rise luxury apartments in downtown Dayton offered by the Landing have 1 to 3 bedroom floorplans, gated parking, a washer/dryer in every apartment, and pricing starts at $705 for a 1 bedroom unit and $875 for the 2 bedroom apartments. Sinclaire Community College campus is nearby and convenient to bus lines and freeways. A little further out and still just minutes from downtown Dayton is the Wyoming Hills apartments on Wyoming Street. They have 4 floorplans with 1 bedroom apartments renting for under $500 and the 2 bedrooms are not much more. Lastly, the First Place Condos on 1st Street have perhaps the most pet friendly living in all the city. Close to WPAFB, Schuster Performing Arts Center, UD Arena, Dayton Art Institute and I-75 and Route 35. You get an outdoor pool, fitness room, and rents starting at $1000 for 2 bedroom units.

Comtech Realty has an inventory of houses for rent with 3 and 4 bedroom homes going for $650 to $850. Our favorite property management company in this area is Manco Properties. They provide listings for apartments and houses. Choose from the website menu - 1 bedroom, 2 br, and 3 bedroom or more. We found listings in Dayton, Trotwood, Xenia, Kettering - all with addresses listed, photos, and descriptions of the homes for rent. Property management companies are great to work with since they list dozens of properties for rent and give you the widest selection. Give one or more of them a call and discuss your needs. Be sure to mention things like pets, parking needs, floorplans, lease terms, rent budget, and other pertinent information to make your search the easiest possible. Craigslist is great, but you may find yourself contacting dozens of owners where as with a property management group you could make a single phone call and get access to dozens of houses for rent.
