Will it be near TAMU Corpus Christi or do you want to be closer to the water by Emerald Cove? There is Del Mar College, Del Mar Technical Institute, Central City, or Oso Bay. Bay Vista Apartments are a good choice right off of Emerald Cove. They offer several floorplans - the 1 bedroom units start at $875 and the 2 bedroom apartments range from $1225 to over $2000/month. Some have fabulous views of the bay and amenities include a nice pool, covered parking, gated access, and a great downtown neighborhood with restaurants and other activities nearby. Other places in this vicinity are Princess Apartments and Sea Gulf Village Apts. For students living close to the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi location, apartment complexes like Islander Village, Four Winds, and Miramar University Apartments. Being by the water is great, but check around with multiple property managers to find the best fit for you - location, price, floorplans, amenities. Also, check online to see if you can find reviews done by tenants of the complex to see how fast repairs are done, does management communicate with tenants, is it noisy, etc.

Homes for Rent in Corpus Christi:Instead of apartment hunting you are interested in finding a home to rent in Corpus Christi. There are dozens of property management companies in the area that rent out homes, condos, or townhomes. We have tried to supply several on this page so you can get started in your search. Kessling Services lists well over a dozen rental homes and many are available during the time this article was written. Their website shows address, monthly rental fee, deposit info, property description, and you can even pull it up on a map. Pacesetter Steel PM is another company in this area with lots of homes for rent. Some of the nicer 3 bedroom homes rent for $1400 or more a month as this market is competitive. A few of the larger homes with pools and good views of the water are offered for $2000+/month. When working with a property management company it's always good to give them a list of things you want in a house - pet friendly, garage, floorplan style, views, lease agreement, monthly rental budget, etc. The more you communicate your needs the better odds you will not waste your time looking at properties that you would never rent to begin with. The further back you go from the water, the cheaper the rents tend to be. Sometimes you can get good short term rental rates with homes that are in foreclosure or short sales.
