Oregon State University is a great school just an hour south of Portland, Oregon. OSU has roughly 20,000+ undergraduate and graduate students enrolled and that number continues to grow. The campus is located just off of 99W and Hwy 34/20. There are several apartment complexes within a short walk to campus including
Oak Park Apartments and Park West Apartments. You can walk to the Beavers games at Reser Stadium or take your bike onto campus. Convenient location and reasonable rents at these 2 locations. Campus Village Apartments is a great spot for underclassmen to live, but they fill up quickly so get your application in early and hope for the best. Corvallis Plaza and Creekside Apartments are just a bit further out, but still very accessbile to town and the campus. A studio at Corvallis Plaza will be under $500, but the 2bd/2bath units are $725.
Sterling Management Group - Property Management company with quite a few listings for Corvallis and the surrounding region. Check out quaint studio apartments just blocks from campus or view 3 bedroom houses for rent that are available now. A few historic houses that are close to campus and in quiet neighborhoods.

Gazette Times - Rental Section - Great selection of housing with duplexes, studios, and apartments. Most ads offer a basic description and a contact phone number or website. I would say get the address for the rental first and do a drive by before commiting to look at it.
Craigslist Corvallis - Most college aged students are familiar with Craigslist, the online resource for all things local including housing. Great place to look, but beware of scams trying to get you to forward rent or deposits without even seeing the property first.
Oregon State Faculty Rentals - The faculty at OSU has some houses for rent as they are off on sabbaticals. Not a lot to choose from, but we found 3 available homes at the time of our search. Information includes dates available, rent, contact information, and description of rental property. You get the contact email and phone # of the faculty member.

Lots of college aged students are not familiar with property management companies, but we feel this should be one of your first options when looking for a place to live near the campus of Oregon State. Property management companies like Pinion Property give you lots of resources for finding that perfect place while attending Oregon State University. They list apartments, duplexes, and rental houses. Many are within walking distance to campus or a short bike or car ride. Elite Property Mgmt is another great source if you want to rent a house and share it with other students. Duerksen Properties has a bigger selection of apartments than the other companies listed here, so if apartment living is what you want, check with them. All of these companies are in business to assist those in search of housing. Use them to make life easier on yourself as you adjust to living near college. Be sure to check out several places before commiting to anything as location, prices, and floorplans vary quite a bit and you want to be able to compare before renting. Also, ask pertinent questions about pets, lease terms, parking availability, are utilities included in rent, quiet hours, smoking or non-smoking, laundry facilities, and more.

Click on the city you want and you'll get a list of properties for rent. Roughly 12 rentals available at the time fo this article - mostly 2 to 4 bedroom homes. Get on the website or call them for an appointment to see some of the rentals.
At Home in Oregon - A variety of rental properties available. They do have apartments in the historic building west of Oregon State University. You can walk to campus and they offer 1 or 2 bedroom units. Laundry facilities are on site and utilities are included. Great option for students that want an easy commute onto the college campus..
Kampfer Enterprises - They are located at 578 NW Van Buren in Corvallis. All properties are non-smoking. They list duplexes and house rentals - leases for 3 bedroom rental homes were about $1100 to $1300 per month. You'll need to put down a refundable security deposit.
Duerksen Rentals - Up to date availability list on their website for listings in Albany and Corvallis. Easily access 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units in Corvallis. We found several 2 bedroom apartments available from $525 to $900. Duerksen is located at 913 NW Grant Ave. Corvallis OR. Call them at 541-753-3620. Many of their listings show NO PETS, although a few allowed cats.
Pinion Property Management - Offering several Corvallis apartments close to Oregon State University. Rents for a 1 bed/1bath unit were roughly $450 to $700. If you are looking for a house to rent, they have quite a few to choose from - 2 bedroom up to 5 bedroom. Great for sharing with college students. Their 'current vacancy list' is accurate and worth a look to save time.
