Alabama University Apartment/Condo/Townhome Rentals

The University of Alabama is located in beautiful Tuscaloosa and the campus is home to some 25,000+ students. The university was founded in 1831 and remains one of the top colleges in the country. Charleston Square is close to campus and offers rent for under $500 for a 1 bedroom unit. Even their 2 bedroom apartments are pretty reasonable compared to other college towns. For a more upscale apartment experience, consider Inverness Apartments in Tuscaloosa which offers luxury accommodations starting at $700/1br and $900/2br.   • Inverness Apartments Offers 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom floor plans. Located at 8816 Old Greensboro Road. The community is close to Alabama campus and you can view all the floor plans online. The amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, laundry facilities, high speed internet, attached garages, and big closets.
  • Boardwalk to Brittany Landing This community is close to University of Alabama, Shelton State Community College and Stillman College. It offers a pool, spa, and tanning beds along with a steam room and dry sauna. It's considered an all-inclusive luxury living experience with gated access.
  • The Bluff at Waterworks Landing Just 1.1 miles from the campus, this community offers some luxury apartments at 425 7th Ave N.E. An incredible experience for first time students to UA.

Property Management Rentals in the University of Alabama Area

When rental markets are tight, students find it very difficult to locate availability in apartment communities. You end up contacting multiple apartments and wasting time. Ideally, you find 2 or 3 friends to live with and share your rent with, essentially cutting your monthly rent payment almost in half. Of course the key to finding a good place near campus is to start your search early and secure a spot before all the other students jump into the rental market.
  • University Downs Apartments - Great new community at 120 15th Street East, Tusaloosa, AL 35401. Some units offer patio/balcony, there are two swimming pools, a huge activity center with a game room, movie theater, laundry facility, and car care facility. Very close to UA and also near University Mall.
  • Yorktown Commons - Just minutes to campus and the 2 and 3 apartment homes are gorgeous. There is tennis, a pool, and some pets are ok. The address is 1625 Hargrove Rd. E. and you can get an application form filled out in advance by downloading it off the website.
  • Delview Properties - Property management company with Court Woods and Palisades communities in Tuscaloosa. Lots of floor plans to choose from and good rents as well.
