The University of New Mexico on the East side of I-25 draws in thousands of students each year that take up valuable rental options. Single bedroom units start at $710 and 2 bedroom places are in the $800's. Very reasonable compared to other cities around the United States. Craigslist.org is a reputable website for things like apartment rentals, but we always tell people to never send deposits or payments until you have met the apartment manager in person and seen the apartment you are going to rent. Many apartment complexes have their own websites so that is the best place to start your search.

Ask for a current listing of properties they have available and then see if you can set an appointment to look at a few. Usually, with some guidelines from you (location, price, size) they can dwindle down the listings to a few that should meet your requirements. It's certainly worth checking into a few of the property management companies in Albuquerque to speed up your apartment search and not waste time. As always, we suggest using several sources to find the place you want. The downtown region of Albuquerque has dozens of newer, luxury apartments - perfect for those that don't want to commute into town or prefer being near all the nightlife. Make a list of your priorities in terms of housing and your needs and then get searching.
